This Privacy Policy explains how SoutheastSys, Inc. ("SoutheastSys," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Hours Logger mobile application (the "App"). The App is a workforce tool intended for use by employees and authorized workers of SoutheastSys to log hours worked, request time off, and view related payroll information.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to operate the App and record your work activity. Specifically:

Account information

• Your name (as it appears in the App)
• Your username and password used to sign in
• An account identifier and role (for example, worker or manager) assigned by SoutheastSys

Work and activity information you enter

• The job or position you select (or type in) for a given day
• The number of hours you worked
• Whether you had a rental car that day
• Any optional notes you add to an entry
• The date of each entry
• Time-off requests, including start and end dates and an optional reason

Payroll and allowance information

• Allowance and repayment details associated with your account (such as amounts, per-paycheck deductions, and payoff dates) are displayed to you in the App. This information is managed by SoutheastSys and shown to you for reference.

Device and technical information

• If you enable notifications, we collect a push notification token for your device so we can send you App-related notifications. This token identifies your device to the notification service, not you personally.
• Basic technical information needed to keep you signed in and to sync your entries with our server, such as an authentication token stored securely on your device.

How We Use Your Information

• To record and manage the hours and activity you log
• To process and track time-off requests
• To display your payroll allowance information
• To authenticate you and keep you securely signed in
• To send you notifications related to the App (if you enable them)
• To operate, maintain, and improve the App

We use your information for legitimate business and employment purposes only. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

How Your Information Is Stored

Your entries are stored on your device and synced to a secure server operated on our behalf. Some information is cached on your device so the App continues to work when you are offline; this data is removed when you log out or uninstall the App.

How We Share Information

We share your information only as needed to run the App:

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of SoutheastSys, our employees, or others. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Data Retention

We retain the information you log for as long as needed for business, payroll, and recordkeeping purposes, and as required by applicable law. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including secure authentication and encrypted connections between the App and our server. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices

• Notifications: You can turn notifications on or off at any time in your device settings.
• Access and corrections: Because this is an employer-provided App, requests to access, correct, or delete your information are handled by SoutheastSys. Please use the contact below.
• Password: You can change your password at any time from within the App.

Children's Privacy

The App is intended for use by SoutheastSys employees and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above. Significant changes may also be communicated to you directly.
